Young's Market Company announced today the appointment of Eric Dopkins to fill the position of President of Young's Market Company's, California.  Mr. Dopkins previously served as Young's Senior Vice President Corporate Chains.  In his new capacity Mr. Dopkins will have responsibility for overseeing all of Young's Market Company business in California and he will report to Young's CEO, Christopher Underwood.
 
Mr. Dopkins is an 18 year veteran of the beverage alcohol industry.  Prior to joining Young's Market Company in June of this year, Mr. Dopkins served as Vice President and General Manager of the Western U.S for Pernod Ricard, USA.   Prior to that, Mr. Dopkins held various sales and channel management positions with Diageo North America.  In making the announcement, Mr. Underwood stated:  "Eric is the consummate beverage alcohol professional.  We have every confidence in his ability to fill this vitally important role and we look forward to his leadership of the California Division for many years ahead."
 
Mr. Dopkins said:  "I want to thank Young's Market Company and the Underwood family for the confidence they have placed in me.  I am excited and eager to embark upon my new responsibilities and I look forward to many years with Young's."
