Young’s Market Company understands that we are a part larger community and that we must  challenge ourselves every day to make sure that, as a company, and as individuals, we are making a difference by supporting  the efforts of our employees, suppliers, customers and community.

We are proud to be a part of the Beverage Alcohol Industry and understand that as a leader in the industry it is important that we act accordingly.  We have developed strict guidelines as it pertains to the use of Beverage Alcohol on and off the job. We teach our employees how to do professional tasting so that they or their guests do not consume to a level that would put them or anyone else at risk.  In the event that one of our employees does feel 100% sure that he or she is not impaired, on or off the clock, we have a Taxi program to ensure that he or she gets home safe.

Over the last few years we have also taken a stand on the environment.  From our new state of the art “Green” Headquarters’ and our fleet of alternative fuel trucks to our state of the art warehouses; we are investing in our future in a way that is better for our business and the communities that we share. With tens of thousands of customers we do our part in supporting the charities and foundations that they support.  Whether it is donating product, prizes or a cash donation, we understand that together we can make a difference.

We are supporting one of our own Bonner Paddock’s OMF Foundation, as he attempts to be the first person, with Cerebral Palsy, to attempt and complete the Iron Man Triathlon in Hawaii in 2012. His OMF Foundation is a non-profit organization that is a progression of his overall mission, which had little to do with individual success and everything to do with aiding others in constructing the first learning center to serve children with and without disabilities in Orange County and across the globe. OMF promotes the idea that any person can make a difference if they dedicate themselves to looking beyond their own personal limits to achieve the goal.
